They did not live the glory of the past, they wanted to live in the future, create it, and not just remember. The new order no longer shocked, it even became comfortable and familiar. The old ones felt a new resentment: initially, the New ones were supposed to be temporary, they were supposed to be a replacement only until everything worked out, and a bad replacement. But now they were the only future.
