It is impossible to fit in the mind an indisputable fact: red bricks, concrete structures will never be able to convey the life of their inhabitants. People, in the manner of ghosts, constantly scurry between the camps, leaving not a single biographical notch on them. It is impossible, peering through the windows, to see frames from the past. Just as it will not be possible to hear the echo of past confessions and the cries of those who were overwhelmed with mental anguish or love ecstasy. Even the cards in the photo album are not able to share the secrets of someone else's or their own being. There is only a moment - the living of the event itself, and after that everything turns into mortal dust.

Whatever a person undertakes, whatever choice he prefers, past steps have led him to this. It's like with a ladder: which steps you climb, you will get to that door. No other way.

It is impossible without suffering to break past illusions, admit past delusions, and then make a strong-willed decision to start everything from the beginning. This path runs through heartache.

When the world is drowning in meaninglessness, from which your own and someone else's life loses its significance, murder does not seem like a monstrous act. It acquires mundane features, is covered with a touch of permissibility, and sometimes disguises itself as a debt of retribution. Having devalued life, disenchanted with the meaning of being, drowning in the abyss of hopelessness, it is so easy to pull the trigger, aiming the barrel of a pistol at someone else or at yourself.

In medicine, as a rule, pity leads to disastrous results.

- Now it is clear why people are drawn home so much, because we commit murders there almost every day ... of our time, desires, aspirations ... we kill our lives ...

Love, friendship, understanding, earthly delights. As a rule, such personalities appear suddenly and come from those lands that you don't think about or even don't know about. Don't push them away. Arguing with those who hear and see only themselves is a waste of time and nerves. But appreciate those who remain by your side. Hold on to them. It is they who will help you move forward, keeping happy moments in your memory and helping to create new ones, and in this place you will, as it were, gain immunity and be able to resist sorrows without that black anger that poisons and corrodes the soul like acid. All of you, - I looked around our group and held out my glass, - remember this.

We all break down, absolutely everything. The only difference is that some cannot withstand the minimum pressure, while others need to be pressed harder.
