There are so many talks about the consumer society, about materialism, about the fact that things become dearer to us than people.
When I look around I see things. Not things, and people, which I am immensely grateful.
So I went up to his Desk and sit on my white office chair. Some nameless designer in my office have long worked on it, coming up with how to create something both functional and beautiful. Honest worker - 8 hours per day, five to two, sewed the parts cut, they obtachivaya my chair, wanted to quickly come home and eat your lunch, but still works perfectly every seam. Helpful logistics company brought this chair to the store where it was easy for me to pick up my chair.
Here before my eyes - a Chinese souvenir transparent crystal ball with fine painted great wall of China. It brought me Papa - dear Papa, who in his trip took the time to select for me some beautiful trinket. Dad told me that this ball was painted on him. An elderly Chinese man who doesn't know about my existence, carefully and painstakingly applied pattern on the ball, squinting, adjusting bad lines, turning the ball to the sun, to make it easier. Some very talented businessmen organized a huge airline company. On their plane dad with the comfort he brought this ball to me.
Here is my favorite perfume. Unknown lab working all day mix unknown substances to achieve a new scent. As it is hard, poor fellow, - a sea of scents around, the nose feels nothing! Some good people believed in him and invested a lot of money - I never had to produce this line of scents to market. How many grown men in heavy suits and ties talking in stuffy offices, how many papers were signed, how many conditions had to talk to these spirits was in the country where I live! And yet - some talented and cocky PR man came up with a wonderful ad, which drew my attention to these spirits and I could pass by and not notice them on the shelf, and have not met my loved the smell.
