In other words, everything that we have we owe to these geniuses, these eternally dissatisfied. And we, ordinary people, prefer to live the most ordinary life.

What was yesterday, tomorrow will be called an uninteresting old thing. Perhaps another hundred years will pass - and everything around will become completely different. Everything except the person himself. Because people at all times, regardless of what they dress in and how they comb their hair, what they do and what music they listen to, remain the same. And as long as humanity is divided into men and women, people will be bound by feelings the same as many centuries ago. And the lovers will still be called Romeo and Juliet - even despite the fact that Juliet wears a pierced nose and a bold asymmetrical haircut, and Romeo never held a sword in his hands, but instead drives a sports car and sits up all night playing his favorite computer game.

Like religion, human history is full of depressing phenomena such as colonization, disease, racism, sexism, homophobia, class snobbery, environmental destruction, slavery, totalitarianism, military dictatorship, inventions that people do not know how to use (atomic bomb, Internet, semicolon), persecution of smart people, worship of idiots, boredom, despair, cyclical crises and spiritual catastrophes.
