Writing is not life yet, but sometimes, I think, it can be the path of life. I discovered this in the summer of 1999, when I almost died under a van.
In my observations of life during my various wanderings around the world, I was especially struck by the fact that even in our time people kill each other everywhere under all kinds of pretexts and in all kinds of ways. Killing en masse is still called war, and killing individuals is called capital punishment. Everywhere the same worship of brute force and the same inconsistency... and this is done even in Christian countries in the name of one whose teaching was based on peace and love.
I want one day for the country to prosper, for people to have jobs, for the world to be stable, and for my general not to have to defend the border gate with his life. I want to be like Master Feng Han, fighting to untie the knot between the imperial power and Ziliujin. I hope that all the machines that work on the ground will work on the fields, that the kites flying in the sky will be filled with ordinary travelers who are taking their families home to visit relatives... Everyone can live with dignity.
The classic situation in which a person with CSD is the first to die is a stampede at the lifeboats on the Titanic or a panicked loading onto the last ships leaving Crimea in November 1920. Anyone who has self-respect and respects the rights of others will not save himself at the expense of others - and dies in the icy waters of the Atlantic or the basements of the Emergency. Lowering the threshold of vitality is the price that a person pays for a higher quality of his spiritual and mental life.

Here the board is hanging on one nail, here the corner post is askew and the mesh is bent in an inviting way. There are always holes, this is such a fundamental law of Russian life. And maybe not only Russian.
