When I was young, I only played by the rules. I didn’t copy from anyone. I've never been late for anything. But sometimes I regret that at least once in my entire life I didn’t do something stupid.

“Good afternoon, my youth. My God, how beautiful you are.” At seventeen, each of us imagines ourselves as a hot big star. It seems to us that all objects in the solar system should revolve exclusively around us. Youth is given to us not only for knowledge, but also for doing stupid things. And when else to do them, if not at seventeen, in a city that has been captured by spring?..

It is very pleasant to bring down honorable names from a height, to break long-established reputations - and youth greedily rushes to such a strict judgment, carried out in the name of truth!

How noble and how painful it is to grow up knowing that youth will never return.

Youth is a little like being drunk.

First you need to live, serve, and then judge the old people.

Youth is cruel by definition. Understanding the value of life comes with losses. Old age is the absence of desires. Gradually, one after another, they turn off. Interests disappear. And from this, probably, irritation may arise in relation to everything new and incomprehensible. But I never thought about it. I speak absolutely sincerely. Something constantly excites me, and I want to share it this very minute. This is probably why I was created. After all, the most difficult thing is to guess what you were created for. But if you guessed right, life becomes interesting.
