Life is a penumbra between heavenly paradise and hell, rested in the bowels of the earth.
Each of us initially contains light and darkness in equal proportions. These are the basic default settings. Only our will determines in which direction the scales will tip. The options are countless.
The line between hell and heaven is as thin as a circus acrobat's rope. Sometimes a light breath of wind is enough to lose balance and fall into the arms of one of the extremes.
