Mind lazy - myth pleasant.

It is absurd and dangerous to look for a recipe for the development of society in a worldview without a scientific basis, because this is nothing more than a myth and fiction.

Since I was raised a militant Catholic, my upbringing was based on the myth of human guilt and divine justice, so it never occurred to me that a criminal could go unpunished.

But once upon a time there was life on earth - the life of the mind, spirit, thought, knowledge. And this is not a myth. This is Aristotle. This is the Middle Ages. This abundance - yes, out of date! - Christian thought. The only true and scientific.

Forget motivation: it's a myth.

Like any art, myth and fairy tale must contain moral and religious principles (whether true or erroneous), but they must not stick out, have the same form as in the primary, real world.

There is a myth that women love themselves very much, much more than men. It is not true. I think men love themselves. You men love yourself, adore yourself, because you don’t do shit to yourself. How does a man start his day? You just woke up and washed what you love. For a woman, washing is, unfortunately, an unfinished act. This is the preparation of the surface for further repair and maintenance work. And we have a hand full to paint. It is so stuffed that if I wish I can draw exactly the same face on the back of my head.

A dream is a personified myth, and a myth is a depersonalized dream; both myth and dream symbolically express the dynamics of the psyche in the same way. But in the dream, the images are distorted by the specific problems of the dreamer, while in the myth their solutions are presented in a form that is directly unambiguous for all mankind.

Mythology is psychology misread as biography, history and cosmology. A modern psychologist can restore its true denotations, as if returning to the original language, and thus save and preserve for the modern world a rich and expressive document about the deep forces of human character.

The most important function of myth and ritual is to carry the human spirit forward with the help of symbols, to resist those habitual human ideas that bind us to the past.

Like happy families, all myths and saved worlds are alike.

A myth without rumors and news is like a faded dandelion without wind: there is no way to spread the seeds.

But life is not a myth.
