It turns out that you can be terribly disappointed and still love a person, even if he acted like shit.

Working at the congress, in its commissions, gave me the opportunity to personally get acquainted with almost all the leaders of our country. With the exception of N.I. Ryzhkov and N.A. Nazarbayev, all the other leaders, and above all B.N. supported her. Of course, before the Congress, all attention and all hopes were associated with Boris N. Yeltsin. My disappointment was terrible. I saw a rather limited person, absolutely unprepared for the role of a reformer and reformer of the USSR. He was especially irritated by the feigned democratism of the nomenklatura worker - on the one hand, familiar relations with people, on the other, incredible arrogance. And this mixture of incompatible made him completely fake. When I realized this, I was struck by the general euphoria of his supporters, because there were many smart people among them.

God did not exist and could not be. Because if he existed, then he was either evil or powerless, or maybe evil and powerless at the same time.

Nowadays, everyone has gone to work as programmers, as IT specialists, and as local bosses - they go to porn clubs and rent out apartments illegally. Offshore and investment portfolios. And work no, no. A country where everyone would only have lunch from morning to evening.

It wasn't a sumptuous emotion like jealousy, admiration, or the desire to become the same. It was a sense of inferiority. It was an annoying level of despair in my own self. It was a depressing level of self-disappointment.

Sometimes friendship is like a Phoenix. It is bright, beautiful, impetuous, and at some point it burns to ashes, scorching you to exhaustion. But after a while, a new one is reborn, and so over and over again we comprehend the joy and disappointment of friendship.

And, finally, we found ourselves in ourselves.
