Of all the artists I knew, only the incompetent were charming people. Good artists exist therefore in themselves quite interesting. The great poet - truly great - is always the most prosaic person. But inferior poets are absolutely fascinating. The weaker poems, the more effective the appearance and manners. If the person has released a collection of bad sonnets, you can say that he is completely irresistible. He lives the poetry that he cannot write in his poems. And the poets of another kind poured out on paper poetry, which do not have the courage to bring to life.

Every portrait painted with love - is, in essence, a portrait of the artist, not the one who posed for him. Not him, but reveals itself on the canvas of the artist.

The artist's task - to build order out of chaos. Assemble the parts, looking for a common line, can be arranged. Give meaning to meaningless facts. Lay out the puzzle pieces of the world. Mix and reorganize. Combine. Mount. Screwed.
