But now all this - absolutely everything! - was totally different, covered in snow, the city looked almost disturbingly clean. Beneath me there was neither road nor pavement, fire hydrants are gone too. Streets wrapped in white paper like a gift. Everything has changed not only in appearance; the smell has changed too - invigorating scent of cold air mixed with the sour smell of wet snow.
