In 1770 captain cook's ship "Indevr" moored to the shore of Queensland, Australia. While part of the team repairing the ship, cook and his comrades went to explore the area and stumbled upon a tribe of natives. One of the sailors pointed to the animals that playfully jumped around with baby peeking out of belly, and asked the native, these animals are called. "Kangaroo" replied asked, and since cook and his team only as they are called. It was only much later they found out, finally - this means "What are you saying?"
