You wouldn't be here if stars did not explode because the chemical elements - carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all that is necessary for evolution and life - weren't created at the beginning of time. They were synthesized in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only reason they got into your body, it is because the stars deign to explode. Forget Jesus.
