Paper tiger (№ 290070)

A certain king came up with the strange procedure of the court. The accused came out
before all the people in the arena were supposed to open one of the two
identical doors. Behind one sat a tiger ready immediately
eat of the defendant, thus establishing that he is guilty. For the other hiding a woman "befitting him in age and position", which he immediately received a wife as a reward for his innocence. (And no matter if he is married, whether family, or his heart belongs to another; and the king thought that such nonsense could hinder the implementation of his Grand ideas about the nature of reward and retribution). So, the accused was ready "to open any door, having absolutely no idea what was waiting for him in a moment: bloodthirsty jaws of a tiger or hug the newly minted couple."
As expected, the king had a daughter who of course
fell in love with a beautiful commoner. Heard this, the king commanded the criminal to send the young man on that same stage. Behind one door, as usual, was waiting for a tiger, the wicked of all the tigers that roam the forests of the country, and for the other girl, whose beauty could compete with the beauty of the Princess.
Before the test the Princess cunning managed to find out that
it was concealed behind one and behind another door when the young man went to
arena, she discreetly waved his right hand. And then he did not
hesitation, opened the right door... But the question is: what a sight stronger could upset "politikanskoy Princess with hot blood": beloved, broken to pieces by a tiger, or he - but alive and in the arms of a woman, perhaps even more attractive than she is? Why did she sign? Or, as they say at the end of the story: "Who appeared in the open door, the woman or the tiger?"
