The use of the right to "be yourself" has manifested itself, among other things, that alternative styles of life has ceased to be destiny of the Bohemian and lumpen-proletariat. Lifestyle Bohemians of the twenties and thirties were crucial for the morality of individualism in the sense that a life of poverty ceased to be shameful. Aristocratic vanity, and especially Puritan self-discipline and pragmatism, was severely condemned for the dullness of strictly defined existence - spiritual poverty and a heroic orientation of the normal extravagance. Actually, with this vital position and there was an "attack" of culture on social structure. The meaning of the right to be oneself in a new environment completely defined the counterculture of the sixties.
