I am convinced that we are witnessing the death of the last great land Empire in the world for about 120 years. Beginning of Russia's disintegration, I would have dated 1901, the year when was the last annexation to be king [Russian Empire] of the territories in Central Asia. I think we should consider what has occurred over the last century, as a series of slices and then attempts to restore the previous state of Affairs. I believe 1917 was the reason that Russia lost a substantial part of the Empire. 1991 led to new known losses. I believe that coming events will lead to the emergence of a certain number of States: perhaps as many as twenty, and maybe only six or seven. Most of which is really important - will dominate ethnic Russians, and not the minority. I suppose that will and the state of minorities: in the Urals, the middle Volga region. And I certainly don't believe that Russia would effectively control the North Caucasus. We will see the complete redrawing of the map of Eurasia. And as I often tell people: don't buy maps, buy the shares of companies that print the cards, because change is coming.
