Richard Dawkins. The God delusion (№ 54719)

Often talk about existing in the minds of the niche "under God": that people have a psychological need for God - imaginary friend, father, big brother, Confessor, intimate friend, which must be met regardless of whether God exists in reality. But what if God simply takes the place that it would be better to fill it with something else? Science, for example? Art? Human friendship? Humanism? Love to this life in the real world, instead of waiting another, beyond the grave?
