When in between classes was lunch, I walked into the dining room where there was a huge choice of cold and hot food, and filled his tray. When I approached the checkout, I was pretending to have forgotten something and came back to the rows of food, went-went, and in the end quietly departed from there with food. I was never caught. Hillel often came to me and joined because he too suffered from lack of money. Those Lunches with him was probably the most joyous moments of my College education.
