- I never knew his real parents. I grew up with foster, and all my life I thought: "Who am I? Where I come from. Why his real parents abandoned me?"
A boy should know who his real father was.
He should, he will know. But knowing the fact that William is now, I realize that I was not ready for the truth. Upon learning my heritage, my powers, the evil mother tried to protect me at home.. no child should bear such a burden. I mean, look at Oliver, the best gift for him - his childhood. Protect him from his world for as long as possible. I can't imagine a greater sacrifice. Isn't it meant to be a parent?
