I understand your desire not to drive themselves into the framework. But there's power in labels, you know? When I was in Girls United, most of the girls refused to call me "he". My label is what helped me through it. My label got me into an LGBT home, where I can just be... me. No questions asked. I'm not saying that we should hang on all labels. But sometimes they help... make us feel not so alone.
