In all cases follow the two rules.
First, go with what inspires the mind. It is the dominant part of your being that guides actions for the benefit of people.
Second, learn to change your mind if someone pointed out your mistake or managed to convince you. But to change his mind except in accordance with justice, common good and the like, and not because the new look seems easier, more pleasant or promises glory.
