A tragic mistake of the foreign policy of the last twenty-five years, not the last three or four, is the desire to please the West and hope that will take us there. It was a tragic mistake, which led... We are complicit in the ongoing tragedy in Ukraine, because for too long we were smiling, I thought that somehow resolve; at random; signed the founding act NATO-Russia, and it all lasted until about 2008 - 2009 - we tried to negotiate... And we are, therefore, of our neighbours, too, as if the sirens were driven; they thought that we are and will be that generally they will always win. If we would stand up to harder, there were a decade ago, then maybe there would not be this tragedy of Ukraine, which is now hopeless... It's our fault.
