Wilhelm Karlovich Kiichelbecker. (№ 291628)

Fathom the land of my acquisition,
I have a humble home:
Sleep here hope and desire,
Fear bound in iron sleep,
Fell asleep the bitterness and joy;
Silently everyone in the underground cell.
But once I knew sorrow,
And I was happy and grieved,
Love Percy trembled,
The lips that laughed, eyes brightened -
But the eyes and heart grew cold;
Grow over the dead ate dust.
