What is the meaning of the revolution? Revolution is overdue transition of quantitative changes into qualitative ones. It's a jump. In history nothing happens linearly. The need for changes break any big developments, shocks. Revolution is a way to reduce the historical distance and thus despite the fact that the revolution is rare, but there are bloodless it avoids more casualties than if the society (or humanity in General) would move in a linear path of development. This path has much in common with humanism and love for mankind than the so-called evolutionary development.
