Trade unions and their advisers, one of whom I was one, in the 1950-ies and 1960-ies have suggested that our workers need more free time to enjoy the fruits of their labor. These assumptions were based on English practice and is not consistent with the conditions of our society. It is known that our workers want to work and even more work to get more money, not free time, which provokes expenses exceeding earnings.
