Corruption can erode any system regardless of the philosophy or ideology of the founding fathers, the adequacy of the government, or geographical location. Even the Communist party of China and Vietnam, in the name of high ideals purposefully exterminate the corruption and decadence of previous modes, only a few years in power have been infected with the same corruption. And when they abandoned Marxist ideology and state planning to liberalize the economy and go to market, kickbacks, extortion and bribery flourished even more magnificent.
