Caffeine is the best poison I've tried. It does not need to be inhaled in the form of smoke, disfiguring the bronchi and lungs. It is not drawn into the nostrils. It doesn't turn you into a limited animal like alcohol or slow relaxation like cannabis. It does not carry away into winding multi-thought spaces, like a hallucinogen. There is nobility in its preparation and use. If ever a light head makes up the periodic table of poisons, then caffeine will fall into its golden mean.
