Science is a way to stay away from self-deception and from deceiving others. Have Scientists Sinned? Of course! We have misused science, like any other tool at our disposal. And that is why it should not be allowed to remain only in the hands of the dominant minority. The more science belongs to all of us, the less likely it is to be misused. These values undermine manifestations of fanaticism and ignorance. After all, the universe is mostly darkness with dotted islands of light.
