I'm not sure I want to be remembered for something. I experienced the joy of great satisfaction from my climbing Everest and traveling to the poles. But there is also no doubt that my most useful work was the construction of schools and hospitals. It gave me more satisfaction than the print of my foot on a mountaintop.
