Depressed and sick people are always the center of attention in the family.
Thus, the complex of inferiority is the source of their power. They constantly complain that they feel weak, lose weight, etc., but despite this, they are stronger than all the others. They suppress healthy people - a fact that shouldn't surprise us, since in our culture the disease may give a certain strength and power. (And if we were wondering who the strongest people in our culture, it would be logical to answer the babies. Babies rule themselves while remaining timeless.)
