Persecutory delusion is a type of delusional state in which the victim believes that the stalker will harm him, despite a clear lack of evidence. A person may believe that he is the target of an individual or a group of people. Delusions of persecution are very diverse in content and range from the possible, albeit incredible, to the completely bizarre.
