As a Professor in two fields - neurology and psychiatry - I am fully aware of the extent to which man is subject to biological, psychological and social conditions. But besides that I am a Professor in two fields of medicine, I'm also a person who survived four camps - concentration camps - and as such can testify to what an incredible extent the person is able not to give in and bravely to withstand even the worst of imaginable conditions.
