As a rule, envy is "whitewashed tombs", rotten from the inside, and outwardly - kindness itself. Envy is both a moral and mental disease, defect, sin and the manifestation of evil.
However, it is not considered a disease because it is "white pathology", that is disorder, which in varying degrees affected all humankind. Vice it only recognize exceptional people who somehow escaped this terrible passion. The hypocrisy, the constant companion of envy, almost impossible to realize the seriousness and depth of this disorder. Nobody wants to remove the mask and show the ugly face of envy.
