I don't know if anything has changed for the better. I think everything has remained the same. The wheel is spinning. Young people work, old people survive, then, in the end, they die, and new ones come in their place. All the same swotting. I've read a lot of biographies, from Monty Cliff to Errol Flynn, and it's the same shit everywhere. No matter how incredibly talented you are, after a while, neither power, nor money, nor fame will fill the void that comes along the way.
