If you want to make yourself happy, think about the virtues of the people with whom you live. One is efficiency, the other is humility, the third generosity, the other something else. Nothing brings such joy as a kind of virtue manifested in the manners living with us humans and occurring in more or less close Union. So always keep the image of virtue before their eyes.
