Book: Courage. Joy to live dangerously

And this I call maturity of mind: when somebody comes to look at life without any questions, and simply dives into it with courage and fearlessness.

When you go, don't go mechanical, do not continue to watch it - be it. When dancing, don't do it technically; technique is irrelevant to the case. You can dance technically correct, but miss the joy of dance. Dissolve yourself in the dance, become the dance, forget about the dancing.

Stupefied, the mind is what is known as intelligence. Your so - called intelligentsia-intellectuals only. Intellect is a corpse. You can decorate, you can dress it up with great pearls, diamonds, emeralds, but the body will still be dead. To be alive is a totally different matter.

Man who is ready to embark on a search, called truth, must also be prepared to make a lot of mistakes, mistakes he should be able to take risks.
Many, many times losing the way, one learns not to stray from the path. Making a lot of mistakes, a person learns what the error is and how not to make them. Knowing what is error, the person comes closer and closer to the truth. This study individually; to rely on any other people's conclusions is impossible.

One has to pass through doubt. Long journey, the dark night. But when after a long journey and the dark night morning is approaching, you know that the game was worth the candle. Trust cannot be "instilled" - never try to convince yourself; did all of humanity. Planted outside the trust becomes belief. Find confidence in yourself, don't take it outside. Go deeper into your being, to the very source of your being, and discover it.

It is very easy to think about love. It is very difficult to love. It is very easy to love the whole world. The real difficulty is to love a real human being.

Forget everything that you said, "That's right, this is wrong". Life is not ossified. Right today can be wrong tomorrow, wrong this moment may be correct in the following. Life is impossible to sort through; you can't just pasted it labels: "Right", "Wrong". Life is not a pharmacy, in which each bottle is signed and you know what's inside. Life is a mystery: one moment something fits and it is right; another moment, so much water has flowed in the Ganges that it no longer fits, it's wrong.
