Do you remember in childhood, when those around you called someone bad who told the truth? “You’re a bad girl,” I was constantly told when I declared that bad was bad. Then I learned to remain silent and they began to love me for my kind character. Then I learned to say something other than what I thought, and from that moment on I began to be considered mature for entering life.

In adult life, the priorities are mainly family, work, personal growth, and friendship is often undervalued. However, without strong connections and quality friendships, there is no social development or a fulfilling and interesting life. Friendship has a huge resource: the environment affects the quality of our emotional life, the feeling of its fullness and self-worth has a very tangible effect on us in retirement age.

When you are already many years old, the world sounds with the names of those who have left.

Maturity is patience. And skill is nine times patience.

Like it or not, but wisdom still depends on maturity.

I have already changed, and if not all, but very much I look differently. As if something turned upside down in me, I began to see the world differently ... or in a different way.

An emotionally mature person should fully accept the fact that we live in a world of probabilities and chances, where there is not and probably never will be absolute certainty in anything, and should realize that it is not so terrible at all - such a probabilistic, changeable world.

After all, even those who already believe only in the devil are allowed to mourn the youthful paradise, the time of innocence.

Maturity comes when you stop complaining and making excuses. You understand that everything in your life is your choice, and you begin to make new decisions to change your life.

to silently understand each other is only the result of very long and intelligent conversations, and not the “magic of love”. And that also takes maturity.

Old age does not exist. At least there is no continuous pangs of old age at the end of life: every year we, like trees, experience bouts of old age. We lose foliage, clarity of spirit, taste for life. Then everything comes back. Not just: childhood, maturity, old age. We have our own seasons several times in our lives, but their change is elusive for us: it is not natural.

Yes, you still have time. But do not yawn, not that time will dispose of you in its own way. Time is like a dodder: imperceptibly it wraps itself around us, and suddenly you realize that you have fallen into a trap - time has sucked all the juice out of you, strangled ...

Maturity is the ability to think, speak and express one's feelings with dignity. The measure of your maturity is how spiritual you become during times of disappointment.
