Blaise Pascal. thoughts (№ 103607)

Let the person give myself to the contemplation of nature in all its high and boundless greatness, let him avert the eyes from insignificant objects around him. Let's take a look at the dazzling light, like a burning torch, illuminating the Universe; let him understand that the Earth is but a speck compared to the vast orbit described by that luminary; let him quake with the thought that this very huge orbit - no more than a barely perceptible dash in relation to the orbits of other stars, flowing across the heavens. But as our horizons, and this is limited, let your imagination flies beyond the borders of the visible; it will become fatigued, not exhausted nature.
