Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. Poems (№ 226936)

The skull!
Wisdom looks from the gaping hollows of the eye,
Quietly decaying frontal bone says without fog:
Not enjoying the truth in the unrest empty,
There is beauty and intelligence of inspiration in the fire of deception.
A number of naked teeth, twisted melancholy,
Sad laughs at the fact that we praise and brazenly dishonor...
Elected this irony calls for peace
Without passion flickering happiness, or visible grief...
Truth - in motionless sinking one, the rotting one!
Mystery - Nirvana; get bliss in her mind hopeless-powerless...
Life is a sacred lull-covered sleep...
Life is peacefully and quietly rotting in the grave light
Skull.
