Dale Wimbrow Dale Wimbrow. (№ 383889)

You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum,
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.
You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the guy in the glass.

Will be called good, cool, good,
When will be able to succeed.
And he will say: you're nothing if you can barely
him straight in the eye to see.
To get a better taste of my life pie
You can cheat, but will understand
What suffering and tears will be full of your rock,
If in the mirror boy you're lying.
(Maybe you clever, did much
And I want to continue to go its own way,
But the man in the mirror says: "You're nothing!" -
And you can't look him in the face.
You can deceive the world,
And get a smile and praise,
But the reward at the end will be tears and pain,
If you've cheated the man in the mirror.)
