Russia demonstrates the highest class of eclecticism. The Kremlin never tires of arguing that the United States is in decline. Putin insists that the United States "is taking a firm step straight along the path of the Soviet Union." But if the American age is coming to an end, why demand respect from the United States and complain about the threats emanating from there? And why agree to summits ?! It looks like political schizophrenia.
