Pat and Greg have been through so much. Really strong people. If I were in their place, would I be able to love? Would you accept hardship? I would... couldn't. I'm sure Pat constantly has to step over herself and endure other people's mood swings. Silence when a loved one reaches for a bottle to ease the pain. The one she loved is gone. All that's left is an angry, wounded ghost. It is better to leave and pass for a creature than to suffer.
