The wise man satisfies his every desire and every passion, while the fool sacrifices all the passions for the sake of quenching and saturation of only one.

Truly wise and kind people accept people and things as they are, without complaining of their imperfections and not trying to fix them.

Moralists teach that in this world virtue is a direct road to happiness, and Vice to misery. The theory of beneficial and comforting against which you can make only one objection, namely, it is not true.
