When it passed, I was in a different place. My fear and anger become insurmountable. I raised my hand to her face, to feel that I am me. My face was swollen, convulsing with my touch. The floor was far below.

There is ash; it blows, like leaves in a storm. They can not catch, count, measure or capture. But we all know that. I was hoping it was a collective madness. The color drained world, because we splashed out of my humanity.
