Character: Zero

Seventeen years ago, in the early morning, a woman went for a run in a large park.
Her usual route led to a fork.
She always went down the right road, but for some reason, she chose the left one that day.
On her way, she met an old man whom she saw every day.
Surprised to see her here, he asked, "Why did I choose this path today?"
And here's what she said, "Because of the snail."
Her body was found a few hours later. Murdered.
They found her in the bushes on the left road.
Sometimes life is unfair.
