We must fight the evil in our heart. The most common evil that visits us is irritation. In everyday life, everyone annoys us: from pigeons that shit on the windowsill, to the closest people - relatives. And we are especially annoyed by old people (because they grumble, grumble, hear badly, are stubborn) and small children (because they need to be repeated a hundred times so that they remember something, learn something, but they still do not obey the first time). We certainly won’t succeed in not getting annoyed at all; for this, the grace of God must already settle in the soul. But not to show our irritation, to restrain it, to extinguish it with prayer - this is in our power, if you want. And we must do this because God wants people not to be irritated with each other, but to love.
