Sogyal Rinpoche. Tibetan book of life and death (№ 451004)

in this wonderful teaching [Tibetan Buddhism], life and death as a whole are presented as a series of ever-changing transient realities called bardos. The word "bardo" is usually used to refer to the intermediate state between death and rebirth, however, in reality, bardos constantly occur during both life and death, and are moments when the possibility of liberation or enlightenment increases.
