No one, having lit a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that would be entering saw light.

Who says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God Whom he has not seen

No prophet is accepted in his own country.

Not by bread alone will man live, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how dwelleth the love of God?

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

And now these three remain: faith, hope, love; but the greatest of these is love.

In love there is no fear, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear hath torment. Fearful is perfect in love.

If you have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
And if I give away all my possessions and give my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Nothing is secret, that shall not be revealed, and nothing hidden that would not have come out.

Judge not, that ye be not judged, for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
