I several times read all of Regency novels of Georgette Heyer. This story, which doesn't hurt. This is not the book, the cover of which asks the vulture "by-reading-open-vein." There is a loud layer of writers who believe that literature is obliged to treat - read books, because they are useful. This is a legally existing subgenre, and I'm not calling to ban it, but not all fiction needs to be castor oil. Dessert would be good too. I have no desire to write books that tell people what to do. I do not propose solutions to social problems. If Georgette Heyer gave a General picture of life in contemporary society, we, the readers, mired in social problems, 1814. Paying attention to this terrible background, we could not in good conscience surrender to the mindless joy of exploring the fashionable shops...
