I was wrong when I said that I am one of you and one of them - it does not happen. I have to make a choice. I choose you.

Why? What's the point? What we do to deserve this?
- Nothing. You take the place that we need. We're not so different: your people would have done just as well.
- No. Our people would not have to destroy an entire species.
- I would. You a century to do it.

- They saved us.
We are not saved, stupid, - we have been called.

- My family... I didn't save... but saved you. Because of this, I again felt... human.
- Is it difficult? To be a man.
- Isn't there?

- Who are you? You're one of them! You are fucking different!
- I'm a man. But another too. Both. Some have come here not for the first time. They came before, to leave secret agents like me. But I always felt different. As a child I heard a voice in my head, quiet but real. And when a ship came in... it was like a switch inside clicked. Like I slept and woke up.
- How many people have you killed? You killed your family?
- No. The disease killed.
The disease, which was created by others that you have created! Your family probably loved you.
- We believed that love is just a trick. Instinct, a way to protect their genes.
- Do you really believe that?
- Believed in. Until I met you. I don't know how, I don't know, but again... it's like you flipped the switch. I again wanted to become a man.
Is you shot me.
- No. I saved you. I was wrong. And they're wrong. Love is not a trick, it's reality. Now I know, thanks to you.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child. I thought and reasoned like a child. But, as a man, I gave up childish things. These words have never meant more to me than mean now when I look at you: our hope, our future, the best and brightest version of who we are and what we are fighting. Intelligence reported that Others are preparing for a decisive blow. The fifth wave. What it expressed we do not know. If they succeed, the waves will be no more. And conflicts too. Humanity will be wiped off the face of the Earth. And now I'll tell you what I know for sure. This is our world. This is our home. They did not capture. They do not possess. And for the time that we have, you learn to think, speak, move and fight like real soldiers. Let the weight loss nourishes you. Let the memory of the victims will give you courage. Let the power of hope will lead you to victory.

Not the weapon shoots, you shoot.

Others believe that our hope is a delusion. It's a weakness. But they are wrong. It is our hope allows us to survive. Allows you to bend, but not break. And this hope will allow us to win. Hope is what makes us human.
